The story behind RYS

A simpler way to understand how people genuinely feel.

Ronald Dumeloo created RateYourSociety after seeing how traditional surveys and online conversations could miss the emotional reality behind people’s views. RYS began with familiar reactions that made public sentiment easier to express and understand.

It has since grown into a wider participation platform for communities, opinions, polls, petitions, learning, live games, events, giving, and recognition.
